With fans eagerly waiting for the official trailer for the highly anticipated film Justice League, it appears that they may have something to tide them over. There’s a rumor circulating that Ben Affleck, who plays Bruce Wayne AKA Batman in the DCEU, may be coming to this month’s Cinema Con.
Cinema Con will be held from 27 – 30 March this year at the famous Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The annual event serves as a platform for movie studios to gain exposure for their films through presentations and panels. It should be noted that the entire cast of Suicide Squad was part of last year’s Cinema Con which could hint at the possibility of the entire cast of Justice League making an appearance. Having Affleck alone would be kinda depressing given the attention and hype that this film has been getting.
The primer for this very plausible rumor was a tweet from Jeffery Sneider, a known member of the movie circle, which claimed that he heard that Batman would be making an appearance at Cinema Con later this month to promote Justice League. However, with no confirmation from Warner Bros. or Ben Affleck or any of the other Justice League cast, it is uncertain if this is true, but as i said, it’s possible, so don’t lose all hope just yet.
Warner Bros. is reportedly scheduled to make a presentation on the third day of the event (March 29th), so keep a look out for any new content that may be dropping or if you can, go for the event and find out first hand! Even if no details is revealed at Cinema Con, you can expect the Justice League trailer to drop very soon, as hinted by director Zack Synder himself.
Justice League will hit theaters on November 17, 2017.
