Kingdom Hearts 3 may be one of the most anticipated 2017 console game yet.
Kingdom Hearts is perhaps the best action game series ever made. From the complex story to their constantly progressive games, Kingdom Hearts has amassed one of the most loyal and respected fan bases since their inception in 2002. With Kingdom Hearts 3 looming about the near future (possibly April 2017), fans are anxiously waiting for news and updates about the final addition to the Square Enix classic.
While there are few worlds that are confirmed for the final chapter, recent rumors have surfaced that Zootopia, Frozen, the Marvel Universe and even the Star Wars universe might be joining Big Hero 6 and Tangled in the Sora’s final battle. It is relatively undisputed that the addition of popular characters like Elsa, Darth Vader and the Avengers will vastly boost the hype for Kingdom Hearts 3 as well as increase the potential to add unique dimensions to the gameplay. Reports stating that Square Enix has hired Eric Johnson who was a developer for the cancelled “Star Wars 1313” game further sparked theories of the inclusion of Lucas properties to Kingdom Hearts’ vast universe. Fans from around the world are eagerly waiting and hoping for more confirmed details for this long-awaited addition to the Kingdom Hearts series during this years E3 which is set to take place on June 14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
To tied fans over, Square Enix is set to release the final compilation of newer Kingdom Hearts games this year entitled ‘Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue’. Set for release in December 2016, the successor to critically acclaimed ‘Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix’ will include high-definition remaster of ‘Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance‘, as well as two brand new additions to the Kingdom Hearts series – ‘Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover’ and ‘Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep–A Fragmentary Passage’.
