Launched slightly more than a year ago, Nexon Korea released the sequel to the massive multi-player online 2D side-scrolling game. Over this past year, MapleStory 2 has released numerous updates and expands the Maple World by adding new classes and brand new content to game. Although fans outside of Korea have to wait a while to have a taste for this minecraft-esque game, these new updates are sure to make them excited.
Just 6 months after the Rune Blader class was released, MapleStory 2 released yet another the new class – the Striker. Similar to the melee pirate class in MapleStory, the Striker class primarily wields knuckles (or gauntlets) as their main weapon and wrecks their enemies with powerful and flashy fist strikes. While it is still unclear how many classes the game plans to introduce this early, we can surely expect similar updates in the near future. Even though I am particularly hoping that they release job advancements instead, the diversity of the classes does continue to intrigue and excite.
