Avengers: Infinity War Teaser Trailer Delivers Everything We Hoped For

After months of waiting, the first of many Avengers: Infinity War trailers has arrived, and delivers so much more than we could ask for.

Everything the Marvel Cinematic Universe has done thus far has been building up to this moment that will forever change the MCU – the arrival of Mad Titan Thanos. Phase 1 of the MCU saw the introduction of the Tesseract (Space Stone) in Captian America: The First Avenger. Phase 2 subsequently saw the introduction of the Aether (Reality Stone), the Eye of Agamoto (Time Stone), the Orb (Power Stone) and the Specter/Vision (Mind Stone). With one final stone (Soul Stone) remaining, the Mad Titan has set his eyes on Earth which has led many to suspect the Soul Stone is hidden in Wakanda.

Without a doubt, Avengers: Infinity War will be the greatest and most ambitious comic book film ever made. It will very likely that the film will break numerous records at the Box Office and it’s not too far-reaching that we see this trailer break some youtube records.

Personal thoughts:

There is nothing more satisfying than witnessing first-hand something that you’ve been excited about for nearly a decade. We see emotion. We see destruction. We see despair. That is exactly what this film calls for given the magnitude of Thanos’ presence. For months, I’ve feared that Marvel may take this film too lightly. In fact, even the slightest hint of forced humor would hurt the film and after watching the trailer, I’m confident that all that humor that characterized the MCU was shoved into the 2017’s films. We can expect that the MCU in 2018 will be so much more than they were and expect to witness an evolution of these films.

It’s time to speculate!
