‘The Flash’ Movie Suffers Another Delay, Solo Film Pushed to 2021

Not too long ago, we received reports that the production for the upcoming ‘Flash’ solo movie was going great and they were eyeing a 2020 release. Unfortunately, WB is now eyeing a 2021 release due to script rewrites.

It is important to note that this film has never gotten the official green-light from WB. The last update on the film’s status was that is was going into filming sometime in March next year, which would likely mean a 2020 release. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the team who wrote the script for ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ in 2016, will be directing the film.

Meanwhile, Ezra Miller is staring in the upcoming sequel to ‘Fantastic Beasts’, which is part of the Harry Potter universe. It is already confirmed that filming for the third film will begin in July next year, which might pose some scheduling problems, unless ‘Flash’ begins filming in 2020. At this point, we just have to focus on the other DC movies coming out.

‘Aquaman’ hit theatres on December 17, 2018. ‘Shazam’, ‘Joker’ and ‘Wonder Woman 84’ are all scheduled for 2019.
