‘Wonder Woman 84’ has been pushed to Summer 2020

Wonder Woman 1984 has been official pushed to June 2, 2020.

Wonder Woman’s massive critical and commercial success put the sequel in fast track. WW84 was initially scheduled for Nov 2019. The new date will put the sequel’s release around the same time as the first film.

We had tremendous success releasing the first Wonder Woman film during the summer so when we saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing competitive landscape, we did. (WB)

Gal Gadot appears to be on board with the move.

This move lands the film exactly where it belongs. (Gal Gadot)

This will definitely upset some fans – I’m bummed I will have to wait 7 more months to see Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) go head to head with Cheetah (Kristen Wiig). But I’m still very excited for this film.

The next DCEU hitting theatres is Aquaman on December 21, 2018.
